Yves Zenou is professor of economics at Stockholm University and at the Research Institute of Industrial Economics. He is currently (academic year 2009-2010) a visiting professor at the department of economics at the University of California, Berkeley. His research is both theoretical and empirical and his interests include: (i) Social interactions and network theory, (ii) Search and matching theory, (iii) Urban economics, (iv) Segregation and discrimination of ethnic minorities, (v) Identity and assimilation of immigrants, (vi) Criminality and (vii) Education.
Yves Zenou was previously a Professor of Economics at the University of Southampton, UK, and a Guest Professor at the European University Institute and Tel Aviv University.
He is currently the Editor of Regional Science and Urban Economics, and Associate Editor of the Journal of Public Economic Theory, the Journal of Urban Economics, the Journal of Urban Management, the Scandinavian Journal of Economics, and Annals of Economics and Statistics.
