On April 26, Olga Lark defended her doctoral dissertation Globalization, Gender Inequality, and Firm Innovation at the Lund University School of Economics and Management. Olga has been affiliated with IFN during her time as a Ph.D. student.

This thesis comprises four self-contained papers that rely on applied micro-econometric methods to understand which factors are important in shaping the gender wage gap in globalized firms and how firms innovate when exposed to trade-induced shocks. Read more.
