International integration agreements, domestic regulations, and international trade
The international economic landscape of recent decades is characterized by two important changes. First, there have been major global trade liberalisations within the framework of the GATT and the WTO. Secondly, a large number of bilateral or plurilateral preferential agreements have been added, for example through EU expansion, the creation of NAFTA in North and Central America, ASEAN in Asia, and EU and US bilateral agreements with a large number of countries. Both of these processes affect Swedish companies and the Swedish economy. This project aimed to investigate these phenomena in more detail.
