The publication of the list has led to significant media interest, and the designated areas are often described in the media in a stigmatizing manner. How has the introduction of the police's list of vulnerable areas affected the life chances of residents in these areas?

In this project, we examine, among others, these questions: How has the surrounding society reacted to this list? How are businesses affected by being located in vulnerable areas?

The project, financed by the Swedish Research Council, uses unique data to investigate how the launch of this list affected individuals and businesses.
