Traveling to and from Prague
FLYING: The main airport is Prague Václav Havel Airport (PRG), to which many airlines fly. Book an economy-class ticket with arrival on Thursday 23 May. In order to make it, you should probably not land at the airport later than 17:00. As for the return flight, the workshop will end with breakfast on Sunday 26 May, so you are free to leave any time on that day.

TRAIN: You can, alternatively, take the train to and from Prague's Central Station (Praha hlavní nádraží). The hotel is located very close to the train station.

Transportation to and from the airport
We reimburse transportation costs to/from the airport at your point of departure as well as from/to the airport in Prague. Concerning Prague, you can either take a taxi or the airport bus.

TAXI: You can take a taxi right outside the terminal when you arrive and take it to the hotel. The official taxi service in Prague is nowadays run by Uber. We strongly recommend that you download and activate the Uber app beforehand (including storing a card for payment). Make sure to save the receipt. The ride usually takes about 30 minutes.

AIRPORT BUS: You can also take the Airport Express (AE) bus into Prague; it stops close to the hotel. The ride usually takes about 35 minutes.

The hotel
Participants without their own residence in Prague have rooms booked and paid for by us at 987 Design Prague Hotel, with the address Senovážné náměstí 987/15.

Check in and check out: You have access to your room from 15:00 on Thursday 23 May until 12:00 on Sunday 26 May. You are welcome to leave your luggage at the reception if needed.

Workshop venue
The workshop is held in room RB 438 in the Rajska Building of the Prague University of Economics and Business (Vysoká škola ekonomická v Praze, VŠE; here is a map, and the workshop takes place in the blue building). The address is Winston Churchill Square 4. It is a 15-minute walk from the hotel. One can also take the tram one stop, any line from Hlavní nádraží to Viktoria Žižkov.

Traveling within Prague
Public transport within Prague is very efficient and cheap. (Since all conference-related venues are within walking distance from each other, we do not reimburse within-city travel, however.) If you wish to use it, we recommend downloading the app PID Litacka to your phone; you can use it to buy tickets and make searches. It is available in English. Tickets can also be bought on board trams and buses from orange vending machines that accept contactless cards and are usually placed in the middle of the vehicle. You can read more here.

Travel expenses and accommodation
We will reimburse travel expenses (economy class) against original receipts after the workshop and pay for accommodation and meals during the conference. We do not reimburse meal expenses during travel to and from the conference or within-city travel. For the reimbursement of travel expenses, please send your original receipts and your personal and bank details (name, address, SWIFT/BIC code and IBAN), after returning from the workshop, to:

Research Institute of Industrial Economics (IFN)
Attn. Elisabeth Gustafsson
P.O. Box 55665
SE-102 15 Stockholm
Sweden

If you only have digital receipts for your travel expenses, you can, alternatively, e-mail those digital receipts together with your personal and bank details to elisabeth.gustafsson@ifn.se. Note that scanned "physical" receipts (e.g., from a taxi or a train) do not count as digital receipts – those must be posted to the postal address above.

Please ensure the reimbursement claim reaches us by 15 June at the very latest.

Dietary restrictions
Please inform us about dietary restrictions or any other special requests.

Attendance
We expect everyone to participate in all events of this workshop, including all meals (except breakfast, which is voluntary).

Style of dress
The style of dress during sessions is casual. Smart casual is an option for the dinners and is recommended for the last dinner.
