General information

Papers and presentations

Papers should be submitted no later than May 10 after which each presenter will be assigned a paper to discuss. The papers will be available on the conference webpage (if you prefer to have the paper only available to participants please let us know and we will password protect the file). Each presentation should take 25 minutes, the discussant may use 10 minutes, and 10 minutes are devoted to general discussion. Please bring your presentations on a USB stick or send them by email to joacim.tag@ifn.se.


How to go to Vaxholm

From the airport Stockholm/Arlanda you have to take a taxi to Vaxholm and the conference venue Waxholm's Hotel, address Hamngatan 2, Vaxholm, phone +46 (0)8 541 301 50. The drive takes about 45 minutes – 1 hour and the taxi fare is about 600 SEK.

If you travel from Stockholm, bus 670 departs for Vaxholm from Östra Station and/or Danderyds Sjukhus. The drive takes about 45 minutes.


At the hotel

Check in and check out: You have access to your room from 15.00 on the day of arrival until 11.00 on the day of your departure. You are welcome to leave your luggage in the reception if needed.

Internet: User accounts for wireless broadband connection are available in the reception.


Travel expenses and accomodation

Travel expenses (in economy class) and accommodation (June 8–June 11) will be provided for invited participants. The Research Insitute of Industrial Economics (IFN) will take care of the room reservations. We would like to remind you to inform us about your arrival and departure dates (including flight numbers) as soon as possible but no later than April 29, so that we can make hotel reservations and coordinate transfers from the airport to the conference venue. For participants arriving on June 8 we will arrange an informal pre-conference dinner. Please also inform us about diet restrictions or any other special requests. Send your travel information and paper to joacim.tag@ifn.se.
