  • How are employees affected by private equity buyouts?
  • Can parents’ use of paid child care be affected by their employment protection?
  • How important are youth sports for later outcome in life?

Introduction

Martin Olsson recieved his Ph.D. from Stockholm University in 2012. The title of his thesis was ”Essays on Employment Protection, Private Equity and Spousal Behavior”.  Besides being a research fellow at IFN, Martin is a guest researcher at Koc University in Istanbul, Turkey.

The Global Award for Entrepreneurship Research has become firmly established as the foremost global award for research on entrepreneurship.This Prize is awarded annually with a prize sum of EUR 100,000.

IFN in cooperation with Entreprenörskapsforum and VINNOVA are the principals of the award.

Professor Maryann Feldman, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, is the 2013 winner of the Global Award for Entrepreneurship Research.
