My research on the service sector is mainly focused on private production of publicly financed services.
In political economics I have studied voters' reactions to fees and transfers, to the economic development, and to the looks of candidates.
Trust is another area of interest. Here I have focused on economic freedom and equality as two explanations of a general willingness to trust other people. I have also studied the relationship between trust and economic growth.
