Research Interests: Industrial organization and corporate finance; private equity buyouts, venture capital and entrepreneurial finance; competition policy in tech and telecom.

Introduction

Joacim Tåg is a Research Fellow at the Research Institute of Industrial Economics (IFN). Working within the entrepreneurship program, his primary research is on the real economic effects of private equity buyouts and venture capital investments. His research is both theorethical and empirical, and departs from the intersection between industrial organization and corporate finance. Joacim holds a B.Sc., M.Sc. and a Ph.D. in Economics from Hanken School of Economics in Helsinki and is a former ALSA-Fulbright Visiting Scholar at New York University.
