The workshop took place at Villa Källhagen, beautifully situated at Djurgården in the middle of Stockholm (www.kallhagen.se).

A group of international experts on electricity auctions met to discuss policy implications for the design of electricity auctions. Presenters included Lawrence Ausubel (U Maryland), Peter Cramton (U Maryland), Nils-Henrik von der Fehr (U Oslo), Richard Green (U Birmingham), David Newbery (U Cambridge), Shmuel Oren (UC Berkeley), Andrew Philpott (U Auckland) and Frank Wolak (Stanford U).

The Workshop was financed within the IFN research program The Economics of Electricity Markets.
