Motivations for work and intergenerational fairness in the Swedish pension system

The pension system is of central importance to the economy and accounts for a significant portion of household saving, income and wealth. This research project analyses how the pension system affects incentives for labour supply and how pension reforms might improve these incentives. The project also examines intergenerational redistribution through the pension system.
