IMCHILD: The Importance of Childhood for Individual Outcomes throughout the Life Cycle

This project studies the relationship between people's upbringing relationships (family background, upbringing environment, education) and outcomes in adulthood. The researchers analyse how children's circumstances affect educational and labor market outcomes throughout their life cycle and the impact of institutional circumstances and policies. Rather than focusing on a specific stage in adulthood, as most studies do, this project aims to use the longevity perspective.
