Europe's future prosperity depends on a functioning AI-driven green structural transformation of the economy. Achieving this goal requires well-designed regulations, together with industrial and competition policies that promote entrepreneurship and stimulate productivity growth. These themes will be at the center of the upcoming conference.
To promote research in this area, the Research Institute of Industrial Economics (IFN) is organizing a two-day international conference on the significance of regulation, industrial policy, and competition policy for the AI-based green transition. The conference in Sigtuna is held in a small format. It brings together leading economic researchers in the field and aims to present and discuss the latest research. Participation in the conference is by invitation only.

The organizers are Pehr-Johan Norbäck (IFN) and Lars Persson (IFN, CEPR, and CESifo). We are grateful for financial support from the Jan Wallander and Tom Hedelius Foundation.
