Conferences and Ph.D. Courses

Labor and Finance Group Conference

The Research Institute of Industrial Economics (IFN) will host the first European conference of the Labor and Finance Group on the 17th of August 2020 right before the 2020 EFA Conference in Helsinki (19th-22nd of August 2020). It will either take place at IFN in Stockholm or be held entirely online depending on how the situation develops.

The Labor and Finance Group is an initiative to bring together academics working at the intersection of finance, labor economics, and personnel economics. This intersection is ripe for collaborative work, and is well served by regular interactions among researchers in each discipline.

There is no registration fee or conference fee and meals will be provided if the conference is held in Stockholm. Presenters and participants are expected to fund their own travel and accommodation expenses.

Submission information: Please email your paper with identifying information to by February 1st 2020 (same deadline as EFA 2020).  We will announce the selected papers by April 15th. If you are interested in submitting for the “early ideas” sessions, then please submit an abstract only, and clarify the submission is for early work in the email subject line. IFN can provide office space (and lunch) for teams who want to work at IFN on Tuesday the 18th.
