In Sweden, a trust-based evaluation system meets a market-oriented school system which allows liberal entry conditions to voucher-funded private providers, several of which are for-profit corporations. The purpose of this chapter is to analyze how different providers respond to a system where teachers and schools are given a high degree of discretion with respect to school performance evaluation.
