IFN Stockholm Conference June 13 - 14, 2024: Sustainable Energy Transition

Sweden is one of the countries in the world which is most reliant on electricity. The energy transition will amplify the importance of a well-functioning electricity system. Key questions revolve around reforms for a sustainable energy transition, determinants of investment in generation capacity, and how political conflict affect the transition.

The purpose of the IFN research program ”Sustainable Energy Transition” is to increase knowledge about the electricity market and its fundamental importance in achieving a sustainable energy transition. Projects within the program investigate political conflict in wind power development, design of a future electricity market and sustainable market integration.

The IFN Stockholm conference is an international two-day event in small format taking place in Waxholm. It assembles world class researchers to present and discuss cutting edge research in the field. Participation is by invitation only.
