Thomas Tangerås is associate professor and holds a Ph.D in economics from IIES at Stockholm University. He is an IFN Senior Research Fellow and is affiliated with the Electricity Policy Research Group at University of Cambridge and the Program on Energy and Sustainable Development at Stanford University. Before he became interested in electricity markets, he published research on for example referendums, international conflict and telecommunications. Thomas Tangerås has been a telecoms expert in legal matters in regards to the market for mobile telephony in Sweden.
