Robin Douhan unexpectedly and tragically passed away on 10 August 2009. His death, at the age of 31, was caused by sudden heart failure. This monograph is a posthumous publication of some of Robin Douhan's work. It is published in Economic Studies, the official series for doctoral dissertations at the Department of Economics, Uppsala University. The monograph consists of five papers that could have been included in the thesis that Robin was planning to defend in early 2010.
Robin was outstanding both in his research and in his personal qualities. He was since 2006 a valued member of the research team at IFN and worked in the Gustaf Douglas Research Program on Entrepreneurship.
