Evasive Entrepreneurship

Almost all research on the relationship between institutions and entrepreneurship assumes that entrepreneurs comply with existing institutional rules. However, this does not correspond well with reality. In fact, much entrepreneurship aims to circumvent or avoid existing institutions (evasive entrepreneurship). The purpose of this project is to study the extent to which circumventing entrepreneurship is an important source of innovation in the economy and how and under what circumstances it has a productive and destructive effect on the economy.
