John Haltiwanger, one of the world's leading economists, is awarded the 2020 Global Award for Entrepreneurship Research. On May 19, he will give a lecture on the theme "Entrepreneurship in the 21st Century". He will also receive the prize at an award ceremony broadcast from Stockholm. The lecture also features a number of renowned experts who discuss Haltiwanger's contribution to entrepreneurship research.
The Global Award for Entrepreneurship Research is the foremost global award for research on entrepreneurship. The Award honors significant contributions to theory-building on entrepreneurship and small business development. The Award consists of the statuette ”The Hand of God” by the Swedish sculptor Carl Milles and a prize amount of 100 000 Euros.
