The award was presented by Minister of Finance Elisabeth Svantesson and the award ceremony took place at Operaterrassen in Stockholm.
Per Davidsson received the €100 000 award for his pioneering and influential research and networking in the field of entrepreneurship. This research on entrepreneurship and culture, and on growth in small businesses, has strengthened, broadened and developed entrepreneurship as a research field.
