Shocks to Physical Capital and Firm Growth

Firms face many risks in their operations. One kind of risk relates to accidents on the stock of capital. In this project, we study how firms reinvest and grow after being by such a negative shock. To study this, we use administrative data on firms and a new database on insured losses.
