Would Increased Centralization in the Electricity Market be Desirable?

This project aims to compare how different markets in Europe and the US allocate production capacity and handle bottlenecks. The question is whether it is possible to improve energy supply by changing the current Nordic model with a decentralized market in favor of one with a higher degree of centralization, especially since the proportion of varying renewable electricity production is increasing.
