Polina Karpaty


Polina Karpaty (formerly Ustyuzhanina) defended her thesis titled Pollution, Green Innovation, and Firms at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences in 2023. She holds a BSc in Economics and an MSc in Economics and Econometrics from Örebro University. She has previously worked as a teaching assistant at the School of Economics at Örebro University and as a consultant in the Department of Trade and Agriculture at the OECD in Paris. During the spring semester of 2022, she was a visiting Ph.D. student at MIT Sloan School of Management in the USA. Her research interests include environmental economics, international trade, and green innovation.
