Presentation at the Asian/Australasian Society of Labour Economics (AASLE), Tokyo: Mild Sentencing and Crime Deterrence

At the Asian/Australasian Society of Labour Economics (AASLE) conference in Tokyo on December 8–10,  Joakim Jansson and Björn Tyrefors, both of them researchers at IFN, will present papers.

Joakim will present the paper "Do Mild Sentences Deter Crime? Evidence using a Regression-Discontinuity Design" (co-authors Per Pettersson-Lidbom, Mikael Priks and Björn Tyrefors). Björn will present the paper "Labor Market Effects of a Youth Summer Employment Program in Sweden" (co-author Daniel Knutsson).
