Evaluation of the effectiveness of private actors in ambulance sickness and procurement implications

In recent decades, the privatization of public services has been used as a means of improving public finances, improving the quality of various activities and, to a certain extent, increasing citizens' freedom of choice. The overall purpose of the research project is to answer the following questions: Is there a difference in the quality of the provision of ambulance services between private and public companies? If so, do the differences depend on whether the outcome is easy to observe and measure? What are the consequences for procurement and contracting?
