Pia Nilsson

Professor

Pia Nilsson is a Professor of agricultural economics at the Helsinki University. She also has a position as a researcher at IFN. Pia Nilsson defended her thesis on real estate and spatial economics at Jönköping International Business School in 2013. Earlier, she had a position as an Associate Professor at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences. Her research focuses on the driving forces for productivity development within agricultural enterprises, human capital, skills supply, competitiveness, and the environment.
