Workshop on "Testing Trade Models with Labor Market Heterogeneity"

IFN arrangerade den 5–6 december en workshop om globalisering och arbetsmarknader tillsammans med Leverhulme Centre for Research on Globalisation and Economic Policy och CIBER vid Michigan State University. Workshopen tog avstamp i ny teoretisk och empirisk litteratur kring hur globaliseringen påverkar olika typer av företag och olika typer av arbetstagare. Aspekter som undersöks inkluderar löner och sysselsättning. Workshopen samlade internationellt framstående forskare från både USA och Europa för att diskutera hur teoretisk och empirisk forskning kan samordnas bättre för att bringa större klarhet i globaliseringens arbetsmarknadseffekter.
